1890's VICTORIAN RIDING HABIT Jacket Coat Wool Leg o Mutton Sleeve

Outstanding Victorian-era 'equestrian' or 'sporting' women's jacket circa 1890's.  Crafted from thick & heavy wool in a taupe-y shade of brown.  Accented with plush brown velvet.  Featuring lovely 'leg o mutton' sleeves & extra-wide horn buttons.  Fantastically designed well over 100 years ago. MEASUREMENTS (taken with the garment lying flat; it helps to compare to a similar garment that fits you well): 18 " flat across chest between underarms 14.5" flat across mid-section

Approximate 12.5" shoulders, the volume of the sleeves allows for more shoulder room than this measurement would indicate

CONDITION:  This antique item is quite strong & clean overall.  I have photographed each and every 'flaw' which are all quite minor.  There is a tiny repair at the notch of one side of the collar; there is trace wear from where the buttons were originally sewn to the piece and then moved over to make it smaller at some point in history; one super faint and small stain on the front; a couple tiny moth nibbles; some minor wear to top edge of center button.  That should be everything!
