1940s heavy weight belted leather jacket by Hercules Outerwear for Sears. When I say heavyweight I mean it! This weighs over five pounds! It has a flannel and quilted lining. There are two slash pockets on the chest and two flap pockets near the bottom. The label says that the leather is steer hide. The collar is real fur, possibly shearling. The belt buttons on each side so it can also be worn without the belt. The coat is in good condition. There is a patch of fur missing on the collar in back at the neck. It has overall patina so the leather needs to be conditioned. I think that the plaid flannel lining was a replacement lining. But it was done really well and they kept the label and sewed it on the bottom. The measurements are: 23” chest laying flat pit to pit 25” sleeve length 20” shoulders 32.5” length from the top of the collar down in back
