I recently bought this from a running store to use solely for running in New Mexico and never wore it. It was a just a bit heavier than my lightest wind breaker. This would be ideal for hiking as an outer shell or running and jogging in slightly colder / wetter climates.
Where I live (in the dry desert) - i decided not to use it for running because only the lightest materials seem to work for me without getting too warm.
This jacket looks really nice, fits great for a Large and is light and easy to pack down into a backpack.
