Presenting Headwind Mfg Co's reproduction of the well loved Bronco WWII Aero A-2 flight jacket. This is an exact reproduction of the 29191 contract from 1942 which included 59,000 jackets. We made this jacket in custom tanned Horsehide that was color matched to the original jacket. We copied every detail of the pattern and features from a real 1942 original Bronco A-2 jacket. Headwind Mfg is known for producing unique historic flight jackets and the Bronco contracts, with their beveled cornered pockets and unique sizing, is a favorite among flight jacket fans. The fit on these reproduction jackets is athletic. The pattern is from the 1940's when sizes ran smaller, but this contract had broad square shoulders, and a bit wider chest.
