G1 fans! For your jacket collection, a cool classic vintage brown leather US Navy Flight jacket in overall good to very good pre-owned condition. **PLEASE NOTE** Ships to confirmed US address only. Leather is intact with some signs of wear and light distressing, knit ribbed cuffs and waistband do show wear and damage. Original label has been removed. DETAILS - Nice example of a beloved iconic classic in a great size. Exact date of issue and manufacturer unknown. Seems to bear some similarities to Brill Brothers, Imperial and Star Sportswear. Have also seen this same YKK zip on some old Monarch jackets. USN in perforated lettering appears on inner zip placket facing. Chocolate brown leather iteself is substantial, jacket is heavy. Naturally patinated with unique organic light wear marks. Good character but not too beat up.  Features include YKK nickel tone zipper, nylon lining (don’t think it’s insulated), mouton/sheepskin upper collar trim, buttons and straps under collar, buttoned flap pockets, pen slot within left pocket, interior map pocket with snap closure, grommet vented underarm gussets, bi-swing back design and wool ribbed knit waistband and cuffs. SIZE - No Size Tag (See Measurements) FABRIC - Genuine Leather w/ Nylon Lining, Mouton/Sheepskin Collar, Wool Ribbed Trim CONDITION - Overall good, in some ways very good pre-owned vintage, some indication of previous wear. Leather is thick and sturdy with a nice authentic vintage patina, looks and feels fairly supple for its age. Have not attempted to condition though it doesn’t really feel dry. I You may notice some corner wear and edge wear along pockets, front zipper placket and some seams plus some minor natural light crease lines. There are a few random lighter spots on back of right sleeve (elbow area), some similar spotting on front left panel between zip and pocket and a few random superficial small marks here and there. Left pocket button is missing. Inner tags/labels have been removed. Zipper appears to be intact and in working order, zips up pretty straight, not much wave. Mouton collar is nice overall, intact, no significant worn or bald spots, just slightly more flat towards back of neck area - could maybe use a bit of fluffing up. Ribbed knit trim shows damage. Waistband, while intact, does have a bunch of random holes. Cuffs are rather worn. Left has a couple of large holes, right is nearly completely separated at seam and there are also holes. Brown nylon lining is in great shape throughout, stitching appears all intact. No real noticeable rips, tears, fading or stains - just a minor horizontal snag on right side. SHOULDER - 18” (seam to seam) CHEST - approx. 23.5” flat - 47” around (side seam to side seam ~ armpit to armpit) LENGTH - approx. 25.75” (measured from shoulder at neckline to lower edge knit ribbing in front) SLEEVE LENGTH - approx. 25.5” (measured from armhole seam at shoulder to lower edge knit ribbed cuff) BOTTOM OPENING - approx. 21.75” flat - 43.5” around (measured across leather directly above where it is seamed to ribbing) Most items are pre-owned unless otherwise stated.
