Now pervasive throughout popular culture, the G.O.A.T. acronym was popularized by rapper LL Cool J, who, in 2000, released his eighth studio album entitled, G.O.A.T. featuring James T. Smith: The Greatest of All Time.
We begin our G.O.A.T series of jackets with a tribute to one of the greatest NFL running backs of all time -- Barry Sanders -- in honor of the NFL Draft being held in Detroit, Michigan, 35 years after Sanders was selected 3rd overall by the Lions.
