MIKE TYSON 1988 Heavyweight Championship Boxing MICHAEL SPINKS

Vintage Large adult size satin jacket  from the 1988 title unifying bout.   GREAT EMBROIDERY.  Jacket is in  Excellent condition. Billed as ONCE AND FOR ALL, this 1988 bout pitted two undefeated heavyweight champions duking it out for the claim to be the legitimate WORLD CHAMPION.  Held at the Convention Hall in Atlantic City, it was at the time one of the most anticipated and richest fights in boxing history, grossing some $70 million.   Also one of the shortest, Iron Mike obliterating Spinks in 91 seconds. Spinks, who was an outstanding light heavyweight champ, had outpointed an aging Larry Holmes to become heavyweight champ and found himself in way over his head with the Raging Bull of the 1990's.
