Original Vietnam era US Navy G-1 Flight Jacket in excellent condition

I found this Vietnam era Navy leather flight jacket with a mouton collar in my parents' attic after my father, at age 86, passed away about five years ago. I do not know who John S Rock, who was a lieutenant junior grade in the US Navy Reserve, despite spending numerous hours searching on line. Thus, I do not know how my father came to own it. But he also had some other military wear, which was owned by his great uncle. The only patch I found with it was the name patch which was in the left front pocket below where it was obviously located on the jacket and just above the stenciled name which matches that on the patch. The jacket is in excellent condition for a 60-year-old piece of leather clothing. The died sheepskin collar is soft and supple as is the leather. Both front pocket buttons are intact. There are no tears but I did spot a couple of very small spots where the leather was worn, and the ribbed cuffs apparently were neatly cut off by the original owner decades ago. The jacket was made by the Ralph Edwards Sportswear Co. in 1964, according to an aficionado who contacted me through eBay after he saw the original listing. It is 22 inches across from armpit to armpit and my guess it is a 40 regular or 42...I am a 44 and it's snug on me and I am not fat. Neither of my grown children, both in their mid- to late 30s, nor my two grandsons have expressed any interest in inheriting these or any of the other antiquities and antiques my wife and I have acquired or inherited over the last 50 years. Thus, I am looking for a home for this and many other items I have listed here on eBay. I have been buying and selling coins, small antiques, including fishing tackle, 19th century pottery, camera equipment and many household items too numerous to mention for a quarter century here on eBay, making me one of its oldest continuous users...really, check my feedback. And please do not hesitate to ask any question, because as a long retired newspaper editor, I know (and used to tell my new reporters) that the only dumb question is the one not asked.
