Original WWII US Army M41 Arctic Field Jacket.
Condition as seen in photos. Notable marks described below are not all inclusive and there may be others not described, so see pictures.
A couple of repairs present as well as two long rust stains and numerous green paint marks (maybe the soldier was repainting their helmet, who knows?)
Zipper bottom lock piece has fallen off but the zipper is an original talon with some rust. One pocket inside has a hole in it. Size tag is faded and the manufacturer’s tag is not present. Buckle manufacturer is clear on one buckle. 3 soldier numbers(?) present inside coat in pen, see pictures. One shoulder has thread on the inside. Maybe it was patched at one point.
Overall would display well. Coat is also warm and comfortable. Fits me like my original 38R M41 jacket so it might be around a 38R if i had to guess. Feel free to message for more pictures.
