Vintage Patagonia Men's Nuevo Range Barn Coat w/ Fleece Blanket
Lining Early 1990s "Range coats were popular among cowboys in the 1890s.
Made from heavy cotton canvas, they were often lined with cuttings from old
blankets. Using this 19th century coat as an inspiration, we designed a more
comfortable pattern and made the coat out of 20th century materials. The shell
is 76% cotton 24% nylon blend. Cotton canvas is tough by itself but nylon
brings the tear and abrasion strength up to barbed wire capacity. Rather than
use an old blanket for lining, we use Synchilla fleece in a pattern taken from
a Navajo serape acquired by William Randolph Hearst in 1903. Wide wale corduroy
lines the collar and cuffs. Y-Joint sleeves (with a lightweight synchilla
lining) and anatomically-shaped elbows free your arms. It's got four outside
pockets and a zippered pocket inside for valuables. The studs carry the Lost
Arrow insignia. All seams are triple stitched." - Patagonia Color: Beige Size: Extra-Large Underarm to underarm: 29" Sleeve length from shoulder: 32" Length from top to bottom hem: 31" Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition. See photos for details.
