The lightweight but highly effective 100% polyester fleece material on this US Military Official Generation III Fleece Jacket retains body heat and is extremely durable and long lasting. The jacket features a full zipper-front opening backed by a wind protection flap and a high collar. The jacket has two internal upper chest pockets and two outer side pockets as well as well as Velcro loop fasteners to attach rank badges and name plates. There are side panels constructed with Polartec® Power Dry® grid material for increased stretch and comfort. Nylon reinforcements at the shoulders, collar and elbows have also been added for increased durability. The US Military Gen 3 Fleece Jacket can be worn by itself as outerwear or as a liner with another parka. This Polartec Fleece jacket is made with 100% polyester proprietary fibers and a high-pile velour fleece surface to create a fabric that provides warmth without weight, breathability, and is at least 30 times more durable than bargain fleece.
