Rare Authentic Vintage Chairman Mao Hat from China c. 1980s w/Lacquered Badge
This is an Authentic Mao Hat brought back from a trip to China during the 1980s. It is in excellent condition overall. There is some cosmetic damage on the interior band but the hat is in excellent structural shape. The stitching is in fine order and the fabric condition is excellent. The pin-on Badge is shiny, lustrous, and without any major scratching or chipping. It has a stunning contrast with the olive drab hat.
Note that there are a number of photos with a measuring tape which should give an accurate sense of size. Obviously, the measurements shown are somewhat approximate due to inconsistencies in the shape of the tape and angle of the photograph. They should be good enough to give a good sense, though.
