This is a RARELY OFFERED VTG TAUBERS of CALIFORNIA HORSEHIDE HH Leather jacket, an amazing example of one of their EARLY jackets. This jacket is the real deal, MOTORCYCLE style, a True Vintage jacket! You won’t find another nicer one if you tried, has no holes to the leather , tears, scuffs or abrasions & no odors! Has a few character marks, but, who doesn’t that has survived 80 years!
For your consideration is this Super cool JACKET/coat. Color is a handsome brown with a liner which shows Wear & tear. Liner shows most wear to neck area, sleeve cuff ends and to waist. Has one zippered chest pocket. Has all Talon zippers except main which is YKK. APPEARS VINTAGE, MAY BE REPLACEMENT. Taubers HH TAG MAY NEED SEWING ON BETTER, BUT ITS STILL THERE, MAY HAVE HAD A FUR COLLAR AT SOME POINT, has buttons in that areaI made no attempt to clean this jacket, it’s quite soft to touch for a 80 year old jacket, hopefully we all look this good at that age. Guess our wrinkles and gray hair (or loss of hair) is human patina! I’m sure a good cleaning/ conditioning would most likely be a good idea, but I’m no leather expert so I don’t want to ruin this jacket’s exceptional patina, so I’ll leave that to its next owner. I don’t smell any smoke or other funky smells. Has no size tag, has 2 zippered hand pockets. Leather is in great vtg condition, has some character marks, as expected for it’s age, but nothing distracting. All of this comes together beautifully to create one of the coolest jackets I’ve ever owned! Looks pretty badass though, the coolness & patina of the jacket doesn’t distract in any way. Has an amazing patina which can only be acquired from time & use. Either way, bad ass as is! Shows little wear, but, certainly not worn out. Don’t miss this opportunity to get a RARE jacket like this! Fits like a Mens large, I’m 5’11”, 220lbs, fits a little snug in the belly. PLEASE GO BY MEASUREMENTS, and compare my measurements with those of a jacket that fits you right. Has signs of wear consistent with a used vtg leather jacket. Measurements while zipped closed and flat are:
Arm pit seam to arm pit seam = 22.5”
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam = 19”
Shoulder seam to sleeve end = 28.5”(along natural curve of sleeve)
Shoulder seam to sleeve end = 27.25”(straight tape measurement)
Length from back, Bottom of collar to bottom of jacket = 27”
