VICTORIAN 1890’S RED PUFF SLEEVE JACKET W LACE TRIM
DATING TO THE 1890’S
FASHIONED OF A RED WOOL THAT HAS A SMALL BLEND FO SILK IN ITS WEAVE. SLEEVES ARE MUTTON STYLE WITH MASSIVE FULLNESS ATOP THE SHOULDER. LACE TRIMS THE COLLAR WITH CENTER HOOK AND EYES COVERED WITH A CROSSING OVER PANEL WITH LACE TRIMMING THE TOP FRONT AND LARGE POINTED LAPELS ON EACH SIDE.
LACE TRIMS THE BOTTOM CUFFS, POINTED IN BOTH THE FRONT AND REAR. THE INTERIOR LINING IS IN A PINSTRIPED COTTON AND IS FULLY BONED THROUGHOUT. CONDITION : SOLD AS IT WAS FOUND, REFLECTIVE OF THE CONDITION. WEAR SEEN TO THE LACE ON EACH OF THE CUFFS. NUMEROUS SCATTERED PINHEAD HOLES SEEN TO THE SLEEVES WITH SEVERAL ON THE BODY IN BOTH FRONT AND REAR WITH A FINGERTIP SIZED HOLE ATOP THE RIGHT SLEEVE. SIZING :
