This is a 1940s vintage "Californian" black leather jacket by California Sportswear Co., Los Angeles. The jacket features a button front and cuffs. Two flap chest pockets. Atomic print rayon lining. The leather type is not specified on the label but the leather is cowhide.

Chest, across pit-to-pit is about 23 1/4 inches
Sleeve length is about 24 inches
Length, down the back, collar seam to hem is about 21 3/8 inches
Preowned vintage. The jacket is in very good overall condition. The leather is in very good condition, strong and supple with excellent patina. The lining displays some discoloration and minor blemishes but is in overall good condition.
