AUTHENTIC Soviet USSR vintage 1956
Major Parade MVD Police jacket. The jacket is extremely rare. The
jacket has red edging on the top of the collar and the top of the
cuffs (see pictures). The closed jacket was introduced by USSR
Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) order #0553 on September 12, 1947.
Those jackets were used in Soviet Police (MVD) Ministry of Internal
Affairs from 1947 to 1957. You can see reference in the book “History

The uniform is made of wool and completely lined with cotton at
Soviet Ukrainian Military Factory in 1947. Russian size 50/4 equal to
40/Long US size. Sizes: chest 40”, Length of sleeve 25”, length
of jacket 29”. Very good condition for its age: lining has some
repairs of the inner pocket which were fixed by the original owner
