VINTAGE 1990s SHANGHAI TANG VELVET Mandarin Chinese JACKET CHARMAN

This is an extremely rare showstopper of a jacket! Absolutely beautifully finished. Purchased at the Shanghai Tang flagship boutique in Hong Kong in the late 1990's. One owner. By Shanghai Tang, men's size 44.  Highest quality 100% rayon velvet outer fabric in black. Traditional Chinese mandarin style jacket, single breasted with frog knot/loop closures at the front. Standing band collar, two large patch pockets at the front as well as in inner pocket with decorative logo patch embroidery. Completely lined in silk crepe printed with a Pop Art version of Chairman Mao waving. Very Warhol-esque! Measures about 26 inches across at the underarms, and 33 inches total length at the center back collar base to the bottom hem edge. This comes to you in mint condition.  My home is smoke free.
