Hello and welcome! This is a vintage vanity jacket from UMASS. It is true vintage, from 1964.It is a white cotton bomber style jacket, made by Champion, with burgundy stripes on the collar and cuffs. The wording on the left chest states that it belonged to a member of the New England Drill Team champions of 1964, the ‘Flying Redmen.’ The front of the jacket closes with a strong steel zipper. It has two slash pockets. This jacket is made in the USA and the tag says it is a men’s sizel arge, 42-44. Here are the measurements: Shoulders are 19 inches across Pit to pit is 20 inches across Waist is 16 inches across Cuff at waist is 15 ½ inches across Length is 22 ½ inches from shoulder to hem Sleeves are 23 inches long This jacket is in very good condition for its age. There are a few discolored spots, besides the faded letters on the chest. I did soak it and removed the yellowish color it was. I have washed and cleaned this jacket to restore the original colors and vibrancy. This is a vintage item, and may have issues I have not seen. Please keep that in mind, and as such, I do not offer returns on them. Please be aware that the actual item may not look exactly like the photo,as lighting and monitors are not always true. This jacket is clean and comes from a smoke free, cat friendly house. This item comes from a smoke free and cat friendly home. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me.
