A West Point style military Jacket of unknown age. Would be great for a costume or a collectable. measurements are below. The coat has a small hole in the shell on the back of the collar about 1/8" in diameter. The coat shows some wear in the nap of the wool at random locations when one rolls the garment around in the light and looks carefully. The lining is a sturdy twill and shows some loose seams along the collar, arm pit and center waist. The lining shows some discoloration. There are hook and eye closures at the neck. Some of the round brass buttons are dented. 3 of the buttons have been replaced. The button holes all show wear and erosion and fraying on the end point of the bindingThe coat appears to still be sturdy. No evidence of dry rot. There are various stamps and labels on the interior of the garment reading: "1911" "A" "1911" One label is missing, I suspect it was a label for writing in ones name The top label is the Manufacturer "SACO" uniforms of Philadelphia Measurements:Chest: 34”Waist: 30”Sleeve: 27Shoulders: 17”Nape-tail tip: 33”
