WW2 B-15 Flight Jacket NRA Patches, Owned by British Royalty.
This B15(I think) jacket was recently purchased from the Wallop Family of Big Horn, WY.
Some info about the jacket: No tags/stenciled info about the jacket but it does appear to be a early B15. It’s in great shape with a few blown out stitches as seen in the photos. A small hole on the back and some dirt on the sleeves. No serious stains or wear. The talon zipper is as tight as can be and works perfectly. Killer patches are in great shape.
About the Wallop Family whom it came from. True British Royalty that settled Big Horn, WY. The family has ties to various dignitaries going back into the 1800s including Teddy Roosevelt and Buffalo Bill. At the turn of the century, The Wallops and Moncriefs(another local family) would famously purchase horses for the British Army at the Boer War. More recent history involves the Wallop Canyon ranch and modern dignitaries like Queen Elizabeth, Vice Presidents, Prince Phillip and other world leaders. The name Wallop is clearly stables inside the jacket and was recently purchased from a Wallop family auction in Sheridan County, WY by Brannian Auction.
