Here’s your chance to pick up a nice example of a Kriegsmarine Foul Weather Jacket. This example is produced in a rubberized leather material, to be waterproof on a Kriegsmarine ship's deck during wet conditions. Leather is slightly dry, but not brittle and cracking into pieces. Kriegsmarine buttons are Overhoff & Cie marked on the reverse. One button on the chest area has fallen off, but is present and in the pocket to be replaced by the buyer. Interior lining shows typical signs of use, with the tailor tag being frayed away on the interior. This item was brought back by Edward Thornton, who served with the 18th Field Artillery from February 1944 until the end of the war. Another original item from Wehrmacht-Militaria, LLC The photos provided are of the actual item(s) being sold. The buyer will receive what's shown in the images. I never grade my items as mint, even though may be. It is up to the buyer to determine what grade they would like to give the item.
