It shows some light signs of wear in the liner ,..
and possibly a few tiny moth holes externally
Lots of hash marks on the sleeve !
the manufacturer tag is marked ;
“ jackets field wool O.D.

There is a partial serial number marked inside the lining -
“ V 8369 “
a sergeant with a last name starting with the letter V shouldn’t be difficult to track down with a little research
XX Corps saw plenty of action during World War Two
The XX is credited with service in the Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace, and Central Europe campaigns.
